I was using an old version of youtube vanced (out of reasons) and today i opened it and i cant dismiss that page :(

Does it have sponsorblock, returndislike api, hidden shortsbtn, pictureInPicture and amoled theme now?

@electrineer okay im trying revanced atm. Its great! And it has all the features i talked about. Only the scrolling is a bit laggier but i guess youtube gets more bloated with every update

@CoreFusionX i think so. Havent seen an ad yet. Im quite suprised how well it works. Its like youtube vanced just upgraded and enhanced

@CoreFusionX it's not dead yet. The last Vanced version is still working fine. I am using it now.

@joewilliams007 I was not sure that is a trusted source because ethe source does kt mention that website anywhere.

@iiii I also was repulsed by the lack of an obviuos trusted source. "First result after ads on a search engine" is not something I would trust alone. On the github page, I was looking at the manager app but it doesn't have a maintainer so I wasn't sure if that's some old app I shouldn't use. I wish they had something like an F-Droid repository.

I know it ain't dead yet. I use it myself.

However, given it's no longer in active development it was bound to break anyway the moment Google started changing the API.

@CoreFusionX beads of rice in my meal aren't aligned either, but it doesn't drive me crazy. When nothing is aligned, absolutely nothing, like it's usually the case with google's UIs, when everything is all over the place, somehow, it's fine

OCD is triggered by near misses, tiny imperfections of an otherwise perfect UI
