@bigmonsterlover yes. And the ignorance and censorship is just disgusting. The mods litteraly ban you if your critizise anything they dont agree with. What an awful life they have.

@joewilliams007 It is full of bots too. To push narratives.

Only devRant is pure. All hail devRant

@bigmonsterlover kind of interesting that it is zoomer filled tbh. It came up solidly in the millennial zeitgeist. I guess it depends on the sub. I stopped going on Reddit much because it has this issue where the interactions are superficially different, but at their core the same. Also Reddit comments are the shortest form of content. Comments being dumb is nothing notable, but the site is literally made up of mostly comments

It's handy for niches. Those tend to be more about people enjoying a thing and less about hivemind hiveminding as hard as possible.

Create an account and unsub from all of the default subs. Maybe a couple are worth keeping, but just nuke it all to start.

Find fun hobbies with medium-sized community. r/lego, r/onebag, r/ultralight, etc.

Find a couple meme subs that are to your liking. Reddit is still at the front of image-based memes.

Find a couple for your profession. r/coding, r/golang, etc. Again, avoid the big ones.

Depends on which subreddit, I think. It's a collection of communities that are mostly independent with their own separate moderators. If a subreddit turns into a zoomer-infested nightmare you can always just leave it and find others.

@MeowHeart its just.. i never really am on Reddit. But 1 year ago i critizised sth in a sub and got banned. Then yesterday i critizised sth again and got banned again. Like these were the only two comments i made on Reddit ever as i dont use the plattform. They also straight up censor everything with bots

@webketje DevRant isn't pure - way too much mutation going on here...

@NeatNerdPrime their sphere of effect is much smaller. Reddit is a giant echo chamber consisting of mini echo chambers.

@joewilliams007 I shit on angular in angular sub everyday. Hasn't got banned. Some subs I followed got worse over the years.
