In russian, wagtails are called “трясогузка”, literally “a twerking bird”. “Трясо” is “shaking”, “гузка” is an obsolete term for “booty”, not tail. Hence twerking bird.

If we're speaking literally, it translates closer to "ass shaker" or "shake ass". Though maybe a better translation for "гузка" would be the cuter version "butt" so maybe "butt shaker"/"shake butt" are even more literal

Not all ass shakes are twerking. Twerking is vertical ass shaking only. Oriental ass shaking can be in all directions.
