Also, I need to find the study, but it showed that if you want a promotion to permanent middle management, as in HR can never fire you for fear of a lawsuit, champion some woke narrative or initiative that is “the current thing”. It works best if you are part of an identity victim grievance category yourself. No CEO or upper management type can refuse you and nobody under your jackboot will dare say ought against you. A ton of that is embedded in corporations now because of a relatively small set of middle managers “renormalizing” the workplace with some aspect of this.
