    Depressing story. I had to do some government shit online and their website worked well only on IE. No idea how they managed to do that.

    For years I have only ever used it on a machine once - to install a replacement browser.

    My kids call it the "browser installation program". 🤓

    @nukaboy I didn't think it was possible that IE actually had a single advantage over any other browser. Incredible!

    when i have to download firefox first i power on my old linux pc and download the installer from it, using native firefox@Clemaul

    Here in Japan the website for filing taxes online can only be viewed on IE.

    Ironic how advanced a lot of technology is here, yet anything online is stuck 10 years in the past.
