    You mean like any browser preinstalled in any OS? also because without a preinstalled browser how do you suppose to install other stuff? With a CD? Also without a preinstalled browser how do apps WebView supposed to work?

    @dontbeevil Fair point. I think you could rename the comic to updating windows and it would still be true, because of edge just reinstalling/enabling itself

    @Lensflare cherry picking, ok they need a preinstalled engine, but show me someone that provide an engine without a browser in the os between apple,Google and Ms

    @dontbeevil I really think that this is completely independent. The os provides some web view capability via system sdk. And the default browsers may or may not use that sdk. The os doesn’t need the browsers to make that sdk work.
    The browser might be needed for some OS UI or other functionality, but that’s a different story.
