Apparently, as a front end developer, I do not need a Creative Cloud license anymore. I will have to rely on the Designers to cut up all my assets.
I could barely hold a straight face while I posted this rant.

It sucks, but probably with zeplin or invision your workflow will even improve, having the designers to cut all the assets by themselves so you can focus on the front-end

What assets would you need? Should be very few if you're doing a proper css job.

Mostly, in my situation, the designers provide crappy resolution graphics in semi to mostly flattened photoshop files.
I normally rebuild what I need to as vector art, create icon sets, etc.
At this point, screw it... I guess everybody will have to settle for png or Jpegs.
I also, am responsible for making up all extra stuff that the designers didn’t include in their mockup, like dialogs, messages, closed and open states of elements, etc. my answer from now on will be “nope”. If it ain’t in the mockup, I ain’t doing it.
