Some dude tried to use chatgpt to figure out a video game issue in Fallout 4. chatgpt told him to try/do something that does not actually exist in the game. People had to explain to this dude that chatgpt was telling him a lie. I am sure chatgpt came up with the info based upon something it learned into its model, but it was absolutely false.

I let it help me with a lua script and it just suggested an optional parameter which should solve my problem but didn't. So it did it like in the old days (like three month ago) and read the specification of the package - turned out the parameter just does not fucking exist and never existed. Now i am thinking this was maybe it's way to tell me to rtfm...

Nah, for most people AI will be the manual.
