    @programmingTrtl Well then to be blunt, you're an idiot for building a site that cheap. Maybe your work is so bad that it's only worth $20 (or maybe YOU should be paying the client to accept it?). But assuming your work is halfway decent, that's a ridiculous price that does not value your time or skill at all. You're insulting & belittling yourself by selling that cheap. Why??

    And yeah, I realize you're young, but if you know how to build a decent site, you should be paid a fair price. Not let yourself be taken advantage of because you're under 18.

    @programmingTrtl If you want to do pro bono work or help a nonprofit, go for it. Do it free then. But if you are going to be paid, have enough confidence in yourself to charge a reasonable price.

    Before I came to my company, they were dealling with a web design company to build a cms for our company, the fucking most stupid cms in the whole earth, called SallyCMS rubbish code.

    How much did they charge us?

    10000$

    @DonMcCoy Yea got yesterday a new job, to create a managementsoftware for a company who builds furniture - An other company said that they'll charge about 15K € - We agreed at 10K :D

    @Christian1998
    That could be possible in 2000, call me a hacker but in these days, I can easily buy a CRM website for less than 100$, and then edit its code to my custom needs.

    @Christian1998
    But ofc building from scratch with heavy customer needs, worth 10k go for it mate.
  • 1
    @DonMcCoy Yea it needs some userdefined functions and add-ons for example stafftracking over GPS, functions to manage which shelfs are full and which are empty and so on (my english is extremly bullshit -sry for that^^)
