I so did not miss installing it twice just to get it correctly installed... But m addicted!

Update: yep... 6 th try right now... i3wm is a pain to setup... But man it is fun too!!! 😄

Final update:
So... i3 can go to hell for now... I have settled with mate... I never used it before... But surprisingly it works pretty well on my machine.... Had some screen tearing issues but switching to compiz fixed that too... All the laptop specific keyboard shortcuts ACTUALLY WORK!!! 😍😍😍
