I get the OutOfMemoryException for a much more sinister reason... I'm close to maxing out my RAM so I always check my total RAM usage, but it's almost always SQL server management studios fault. Not my machine, not the SQL server but the goddamn piece of crap management studio which is built for 32 bit machines and has a limit to how much RAM it can use and it uses a bunch of it for itself and it looks like it leaks memory all over the place... Opening a new instance works perfectly.
