Definitely understand that. I manage about 10 high traffic e-commerce sites for affiliate marketing...
If anything goes down or a bug prevents a user from checking out, I get calls. Had a server go down in the middle of the night once and my drunk ass had to crawl out of bed to fix it. Thousands of dollars an hour can be lost, in addition to pissed off affiliates who still want paid for their sales they sent. -
If its not your company, why should you give a fuck? Youre being underpaid as it is (otherwise you wouldnt get paid at all) - I would spit in someones face for calling me up outside of my contracted hours.

For me personally, it means I continue to have a job. I also get 2% of the profits. I equally want the sites up.
