I don't know if it's the new generation of programmers or what but it irritates me how people recommend JavaScript/Node for solving almost any type of problem these days. JavaScript is nice, but come on...

Agreed, there should never be a catch-all solution. But people tend to recommend what they know, and it happens that a lot of people "know" JavaScript.

I have to say. I used to agree. But now I have started using React and React Native, I can't recommend JavaScript enough.

Now I develop efficient and professional looking apps for iOS/android in half the time I could before!

All I meant was, I fully agreed with the rant up until I discovered React-Native. It allows us to develop components for web/iOS/android all at once.

react or react native if you look at library files its all JavaScript common guys .......

react is a framework for web development but brother its built using JavaScript in its core
