I’ll be the first to admit it. I gaslight and manipulate everyone I work with lmfao

Sounds like a toxic ass place to work, NGL.

Got a new guy here who is like that too...

Sadly for him, I cannot be manipulated. So after he lost his battle, the guy now refuses to sit at his place (landscape office and diagonal in front of me) He prefers to sit in the server room 🤯

He is also still sending mails to HR about how I cross his 'personal space'. (Because users come now first to me for stuff he should fix)

@Grumm a new guy that writes to HR about you? Damn, is he still in trial period? Fire him

I highly doubt it. From never having heard of it to every lie or different point in view to a joke is called "gaslighting" now.
Can you please elaborate what exactly you mean or did you really manage her people to question their mental health?

@retoor Nope... He is here now 6-7 months. Was hired to replace the senior who will retire and this year. But he will not get the role of the senior.

(Basically, we are both IT responsible and he is system engineer)

Oh and it is not only to me. He is rude to all users, doesn't listen to the needs.

@hjk101 I guess maybe I am exaggerating a bit. I just don’t have any empathy for any of them so I will put on an act in various ways or lie a little bit to produce the best situation for myself. I feel like it’s just a defense mechanism so I don’t get overworked.

Here is an extreme example, if a manager/higher up dev is a dick to me and slows down my pace and just makes me look and feel like shit, I will slowly degrade them over time and reduce their capabilities to function effectively within the org. I will make them feel like shit. I will also make sure that other people catch the tiny signals I get from them so other people will feel that way about them. Eventually, they will be disliked by everyone within the company.

    I definitely don't do that.

Based on some responses I have seen you post, I'm not surprised
