So like many others, you decided to make money off your hobby and skills, now you see a raspberry pi and want to set it on fire. See a terminal? Wanna rm -rf / the shit out of it? Soooo, since we've become bored and tired of this shit, have you ever thought in what profession you'd be happy?

Passionate of what you do even if the pay is low, but you finish your day with a smile in the face rather than a post in devrant.

@Voxera same employer all those years?

How many projects/roles have you changed?

@netikras No not the same, I switched 4 years ago.

But I spent 17 years on one product on my former job :)

Before that I worked more as support/maintenance for external customers.

I did write some programs but mostly smaller ones and I was the only dev on those.

But in 2001 we started building web applications that we hosted our self and that customers subscribed to.

I was partly involved in most products but spent most time on one.

And we did start more than a dozen before finding the ones that actually did bring in money :)

But now I work with the e-commerce site for a pharmaceutical chain.
