I really appreciate devs that aren't complete assholes when you admit ignorance and embrace failure. Be a teacher, not an asshole!

@dfox, maybe in the next update we can have some kind of way to indicate that you wish you could upvote something a 100 times. 😃

    Glad you think so too.

Unfortunate not many top quality devs like this out there.

Most of them on devrant though are God tier ;)

I hope the more angry devs take note if this. Getting needlessly aggressive or negative responses is shattering to a newbs confidence.

This needs to be said over and over again. Devs especially those with with much more expertise are unnecessarily rude and condescending, it is disheartening to the average beginner and discouraging.

@bash-apprentice I'm getting the sense that the DevRant audience does not include too many of these devs for whatever reason. Anybody else getting that impression?

@shittywebdev Definitely. I've had one asshole comment, was first encounter on devRant actually. After that though it's been nothing but respect and love. Seems a lovely bunch this lot :)

THIS, nothing worse than a macho attitude in a dev regarding domain knowledge, so counterproductive
