Do you have any tips for dealing with a sore index finger nerve? I've already bought a large mouse so my hand can rest on it but it's been getting worse. 😥

See a proper physician, they're more qualified than any of us to help you. Your health isn't something you should cheap out on. Hope that finger gets well soon

@CptFox yeah I might just do that. I thought maybe someone here has some tips as it's quite common among developers (index finger joint pain). Bucky Roberts once mentioned getting a mouse which is shaped like a joystick.

I agree you should see a proper doctor but I found great improvement using a Trackball instead of the usual mouse. I use this one http://logitech.com/en-us/product/... and I really love it. It takes some time to get used to but it's definitely worth it.
I'm also a guitarist so the less stress on the fingers, the better for my hand.
