Come on guys deep down we all know windows is best and we love it

I like windows. Although I've never used a mac, or linux. I've heard linux is superior to windows, but I don't care enough to find out. Although I'd prefer a mac because it would allow me to learn iOS AND android app development, not just android. I know you can just run Mac OS on a VM but I'm not an expert on that and I don't want to risk screwing my laptop up.

@linuxxx Likely the ones that use the term "Winblows." The ones who refuse to ever use Windows. The ones who act like vegans (make it a point to mention Linux, even when it's not relevant). I think no operating system is superior than another, if you are a dev it's your responsibility to make use of both the operating systems according to YOUR use.

@shantnuchaubey true, 10 has some cool things about it (which is why I tried several times to come back to it) but getting the drivers to behave properly is a nightmare (at least on my pc). it took me two days to get the display and sound drivers to work properly and there was still one driver that was completely messing up the audio latency, so listening to music was basically listening to a bunch of crackling noises. on top of it, trying to reinstall that driver entirely broke windows so it wouldn't boot anymore. so my conclusion is: fuck windows

If you are web developer which os you use not matter at all but if you are a software developer then it's a big deal

Open suse in the same machine install 3.8gb updates in less than 1 hour. I like win 8.1... But somethimes is fucking piece of shit... Peace and love between devs!
