areontar3727yThat makes a lot sense in my book, working with people will teach you a lot, whether it's learning how to do thing, or how to avoid doing them.
The first years of your career are quite formative when you find good mentors, they will help you move up a lot faster. -
Yeah man. I've been on the road for 1.5 years and if it wasn't for my other remote colleague I work closely with, some days would have been harder than others. Especially if you're not totally buzzed on your project...
Find like minded people who are online and down to talk about the same shit your keen on or to bounce ideas off and it'll make life easier.
Also don't forget to keep a routine because without set structure you'll have to set it yourself or you'll end up doing fuck all. -
I've been working remotely for 10 years now, and there are still days I'd kill to have an office to go to for a change of scenery, or a place too work that wasn't also my living room. But when I was working in an office every day, I wanted the option to climb out of bed at the last minute and work in sweats. Humans like variety.

Unpopular opinion:
I currently work remotely, but as it's my first job I would love to work locally with other devs in a room... Motivating can be quite hard sometimes when you're alone.
(And I know this attitude will probably change once I worked locally some time)
