I love how different figures in tech got really different reputations.

Take Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. We all love Elon.

What did they do different? What did they do wrong?

Musk wants to go to Mars.
Zuck wants to make consumer slaves.

I like them both. Mark is just an average kid who happened have an idea that blew up. I like that he doesn't seem to have changed. Musk on the other hand had several great ideas, and managed to turn all of them into market leaders. He's a little narcissistic though.

@620hun well yeah but it's hard to convince yourself that your shit doesn't smell better than everyone elses, when people are kissing your ass and throw money at you. I would probably be a shitty person if I were in his place leading the industry in groundbreaking technologies
