ReadyBoost is supposed to act as ext ram if your pc runs out, problem is your USB slots are pretty slow(unless you have USB C). Even so, ram is rediculously fast, even SSD's are way slower...

Unless you have like 256mb of ram, it won't really make a difference.

You should really get an SSD and install everythong on that it will improve response timea tremendously.

There is a reason ready boost was only in 1 os, firstly it was slow and secondly Windows 8 and 10 are exponentially faster are do not need such gimmicks.
