Android is fucking fucked up.

Why the fuck it takes so much of time to build. And trust me,

React + Android is the worst combination. Can't even understand what the fuck it is trying to say?

And sometimes, no body knows what is wrong with something. Seriously look at the picture, that's the solution sent by the Android lead.

But why the 🦆 I have to wait for minutes and minutes to test. Why it can't be instant like Dev server ?

Make the changes and check it instantly.

Native development on android is great and if you have a fast processor the build process doesn't take too much time.

My 2 cents, use native apps if you want to be fast, clean and effective

Well, I don't work on Android.

I have a service which collects the stats like Amplitude or GA. I need to get the stats from Android.

But as the sale is coming up, I have to work on Android to get the stats which BA ppl wants to analyse.

It's like you are asking Google Analytics or Amplitude to write code in your Android app to get the stats which you want to analyse.

Coming to JS part, they moved to React months back, as one of the major e commerce called Myntra moved. Cleaner UI? I really don't know why they moved.

React Native is a great idea buuuuuuttt you should just learn the right tools for the job. Look into a more mature cross platform mobile app solution if you just need cross platform.

I once compared gradle build time taken in windows and Linux system. Turned out, windows was slower by 4min! That was because of spontaneous background anti-virus scanning of the build files and what not, all the time, during every build.

Linux prevails yet again, always quicker.
