Just found out Google Domains is being shutdown and all domain registrations sold to Squarespace. Somebody should be hanged for this..

Don't rely on anything Google - their project graveyard shows why. Just use a real provider.

@joewilliams007 Holy, YouTube reels will be gone? I watch them often. Weird that you couldn't watch a reel while casting.

Edit: the fuck, they killed a lot

@retoor youtube stories = reels. not the shorts. the naming is weird...

@joewilliams007 can't say they marketed much apps well..

@Fast-Nop that's my only fear using Dart and Flutter. Although now its got a strong enough following that devs would just maintain it if google ever dumped it.

I recall the hype when it was first out and people was like WOW FINALLY!

Anyways one more project off to the graveyard ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I still use Picasa. Every replacement I've tried has been complete garbage.

@PaperTrail uhh.they should open source these apps :/

@PaperTrail wow Google did kill a lot of products, I'm curious on why all the endings. Is it not expected profit or they weren't able to get enough users/consumers for their products? Just like Google+ and Facebook, failed to get people away from Facebook

@joewilliams007 hmm, open sourcing costs money. I mean - is the project you're working on in the company directly ready for open sourcing?

And maybe, they just keep it on shelve for future. If had their money, I would've use my long bread until it becomes popular
