What is it with inabhorrent arrogance plastered all over IT as a whole?

I get younger, inexperienced people telling me I'm wrong constantly, criticising my work despite them having no clue (visible from their own work standard and TTL of their projects) .
Similar from older generation, who are resistant to change and aren't even part of my team telling me I'm doing my job badly.

No, everyone should contribute to a ethic where willing to teach those who don't know regardless of age, there are those who are arrogant and think they know everything and that everyone else is stupid, one of the aspects that harms a work environment I'm.

Demotivates me when I meet individuals like this

Only ever been in 1 team that has embodied this but it's stuck with me

@0xH4lcyon same. I can't stand the "God, so and so is so stupid, I mean they don't even know X" mentality. People can always be taught, but sometimes they just refuse to learn or just won't apply themselves. If you've made an honest effort, then fine... Move on. Otherwise, shut up and be part of the solution. Developing isn't about the individual anymore. It's teams or bust. /rant
