"Don't bother spending time learning MVC. We'll never use it here."

Well, that was 4 years ago, I'm still working here, they're not, we're using MVC.

    I think MVC comes with experience the more you code the more you understand the need of MVC

    @Baguette Oh, I was already familiar with how Java implemented it, just not with the .net implementation. The person who suggested I ignore it was also a strong proponent of VB over C#

    I'm predicting that you still won't be using MVC in another 4 years, unless you start implementing it yourself and forcing others to learn. It'll be tough, but worth it in the long run.

    @chrisrhymes as I said, we currently use C# MVC. I did help build the recommendation that went to management, but we've been using it for a bit now.
