Xevion1579y@batuhanfaik that would be a button though, since the power button is not part of the keyboard. Well, it can be, but not very often.

Xevion1579y@batuhanfaik does macs have the power button along with the normal keys? That feels like a pretty bad design decision. In which corner is it?
-
Xevion1579y@batuhanfaik I just checked it out, haha. When Windows laptops have their power button like that it's seen as a major design flaw, but when Apple does it I guess it's ok.
Hitting that power button by mistake would drive me insane. I guess that's another reason for me to never own an Apple laptop... -
@Xevion My MacBook Pro doesn't have the power button on the keyboard, but I assume it functions the same:
• Short press does nothing
• Hold for a second to sleep
• Hold for a couple of seconds to show sleep/shutdown/restart dialog
• Hold for ~5 seconds to force power off -
@Xevion i had my hands on a macbook air 13" yesterday and the power key was on right top corner

Xevion1579y@nathanprocks i guess it's not a major problem. I was overreacting a bit. If they implement it so that clicking it doesn't do anything, then I guess it would be tolerable.
I would just personally find it slightly annoying.
