Greatest bit of advice I ever received going into programming: "Engineers are people who look both ways at a one way intersection"

I'd imagine it's either an intersection that only has 3 sides one straight road and one that ends at the intersection. Or an intersection made up of one way roads.
In either situation looking both ways could be considered unnecessary..

@AlexDeLarge we have one way intersections in Australia, two ways on off roads and a one way through road.. pretty rare but it happens
