What's your coding fuel? I often have pies at work so I guess that's mine. Aside from coffee of course!

Also damn, Asian noodles are strong! Got some imported ones from a local Spar. Decided to try the spicy one first since I'm not usually a spicy food guy. I couldn't get more than 3 bites in before I had to throw it away. Decided to have some of the Rice vermicelli I made instead.

    @gitpull hello

    Well... I just commit to it. BA DUM TSSS.

    But really, my fuel is tea. Sweet tea. With some sweets if I feel like it.

    @gitcommit What tea do you like? Locally I am a rooibos man, but with my gf "sweet tea" is a concoction of tea, 2 sugar (stevia sweetener is great too), 1 teaspoon honey and hot chocolate powder. Last weekend I added some Nescafe gold and it actually made it even better.

    @TheCapeGreek wow nescafe gold with tea? Gotta try that some time. I'm really simple with my tea. I just drink any tea available (in my house it's normally the cheapest). Recently I've tried to avoid sugar, but normally I add 2 teaspoons and a half of sugar. My gf drinks it with around 4 but I've been cutting it down for her to 3 teaspoons (she hasn't noticed yet).

    @gitcommit eh, tea with coffee ain't always good but I found it good in that mix. Granted gold might be better for mixing in general. Also, damn that's still a ton of sugar lol. I highly recommend stevia sweetener, it's just as good as sugar (sometimes stronger) and not a laxative in large quantities like Xylitol.

    You just eat pies all day? o_o

    @alecjd haha naaaaah. But it is the most frequent work lunch item for me. Local bakery makes really good pastry

    Gold fish... Family size bags of them. 1 every 5 hours of coding.

    I've cut back now, but a tray of donuts was usually a good start, or half a chocolate fudge cake would keep me going untill lunch.

    Coffee or tea, and chocolate.

    Nuts. I eat a lot of nuts of all sorts while I work. Helps me not going nuts because of clients, I'm full of nuts already. 😏

    Hehe, my wife is Taiwanese and insists on stocking up the whole cabinet with Korean noodles, those are super spicy :') personally I fuel of cinnamon rolls and juice, pretty odd blend
  • 1
    @Eqb8 interesting blend indeed. Since you're so experienced with noodles, how are kimchi and shrimp flavours? Those are the next ones I have stocked. 1 kimchi and 2 pad Thai with shrimp flavour
  • 1
    @TheCapeGreek I like Kimchi, not a big fan of shrimps tho, the spicier the better is the rule of thumb in our home, if you are ever in Asia try out the Kimchi pizza

    @Eqb8 oooh, I'll keep it mind! Thanks!
