#1 life lesson learned from coding: There are things I just can’t be good at no matter how hard I try.

    And I've learned that that is okay. Learning to lean on others that are better at something else than I am can go a long way.

    @iSwimInTheC I just wish employers understood this. I just applied (out of desperation) for a job where the title is Web Manager and the description is about managing other developers and not being expected to do all the work yourself, but then in the application process, there was a heavy emphasis on being an expert in 12 (TWELVE!) different languages and cloud platforms. HR is a plague on our industry.

    So far for me it's how much effort I want to put in / soul I want to lose by trying to be great at something.

    I'm passionate about the craft, but fuck me is some of it boring (manual releases)
