I don't know how that turned out though.

Yep... I'm from Portugal, it's funny because we are such a small company but some of our laws put bigger countries to the corner...
We have laws to protect workers and organizations that can act in case a employee is mistreated
Even in drugs we have the best law for years, consumers are not arrested, only dealers... Drug consumption decreased, jails have less inmates and the money the government saved is used to treat drug addicts.. There is even organizations supported by the government that suplies needles, higiene stuff, food and shelter... So crime related to drugs decreased 90%

And that jerk boss would be arrested for aggression, but the company is the one that must compensate the employee
