XIAOMI vs APPLE..?

XIAOMI providing almost 90% of the specs of APPLE for half price, shouldn't we go for XIAOMI instead of APPLE....?

A highly closed patent-ridden ecosystem that is nothing more than a symbol status by now or something else that you can even hack and do other shit with it ... uhm🤔 🤔 🤔

No because it has Google malware preinstalled.

Btw, I didn't get the connection between this and your work.

I bought two Xiaomi s to my parents last year and they are still happy with them! :) Oh, two of them only $300 in total. What? $1200?? A car parking outside with a for sale sticker writing $600. I'll go get the car.

Mi5 has probably been my best investment. Love how its so compatible with many popular custom ROMs!

And you get explosion for free with it.

I don't want to support Apple in this case. We're computer guys, so we know where the problem is in Apple products.

But I heard many things about Xiaomi : the bad finition on their products, the MIUI interface,... Kind of things that makes a difference, when I buy a phone.

@Gowtham95india that was Samsung though, but they created a great joke/meme for the future ... like Apple and its literally bendable phones once both done for them going after "Make this shit as thin as possible" goal

    Xiaomi FTW

Xiaomis are great!!! Had Mi4i, two of them, for two years, and only just recently switched to op5s :) cameras were great!

Forget about comparing the specs! Technology is nothing without the ecosystem built with the user in mind.

@pajaja Oh come on man. Google malware? You're not that dumb are you 🤣
  • 0
@newbiedog Sure it does. The difference is that Google is in business of selling data and Apple isn't.

@Froot Yeah, insults are great arguments. I guess, I am that dumb. Sorry for that.
  • 1
@pajaja Although their official business model is not data selling (apple), they're integrated in PRISM so yeah. Next to that their entire OS is closed source so who's to say there aren't any hidden backdoors?
  • 0
@linuxxx Since we already know that iOS had some backdoors in the past, I'm sure that there are still some that are not discovered yet

I'm an Apple hater but they did a good job with the new cpu they have already developed A11 whose performance is astonishing.

I'm sorry, but what does this have to do with wk71 group rant?
