When java was facing extinction, during the JavaScript, Node, and reactive programming hype. It did what it had always done. just adapt to the hype and maintain backward compatibility. We can all learn a thing or two from the humble java. It never rushes, it's patient. Be calm and wait before you hype yourself.

Nah man, doesnt matter still love Java. It was my first language and still on my top 3 (the other 2 being Python and Php) since I never forget Java. Seriously tho, I know Js pretty well, but I find myself looking at the docs or my notes all the time. With Java, every time I learn new stuff it just adds to it without me having to go through docs or notes. Its weird how that happens with certain languages or environments. Java is king and it has a shitload of cool features.
