I wish I had the power to fire the user experience designer who makes the worst UX.

Oh yes.

What do half these people even do? I mean I'm a self confessed UX numpty, but if I can look at their design and go "doesn't conform to accessibility guidelines, won't work on small screens, won't work on large screens, user won't have a clue what that wording means", etc. - then why do we even have them?!

I've also met some truly fantastic UX people. But they're rare.
