I am having a massive anti-Microsoft day since they announced they are killing Groove music streaming service.

Funny how there is so much shit going on in the world and I'm here sulking over a music service...

    Is the very same reason that there is so much shit going in the world that if you want to retain whatever sanity you have left, you need from time to time enjoy nihilistic/selfish moments of yourself, now I have never used that service, youtube most of the time fills my need for my taste in music but I guess that sucks mate

    I think apart from you no one has any problem.

    Yet another MS project dead and buried.

    @Jonnyforgotten you are not alone, my coworker complained about it today as well

    Wait... That shit's a streaming service?

    AmaLee fills me with life~

    @Cyanite confession - I have a windows phone and the last time I checked Spotify didn't work too good on it...

    So basically if I want to stream music on the go I need to buy a new phone

    @Jonnyforgotten

    Could've been a temporary issue, or a problem with your internet at the time. I would suggest trying again.

    My sister uses Pandora, and she really likes it, but I've never used that.

    @Krokoklemme yes. Groove is the music player which comes with windows (and is available on ios and android) and it lets you play local music, music files stored in OneDrive and has an optional streaming service. They are scrapping the latter but it can still play local and OneDrive music

    @Jonnyforgotten I knew that much, just not the streaming part. I always thought it's W10s "replacement" of WMP

    @Cyanite thanks, I'll check it out again. I don't think you can get Pandora on Windows Phone ☹

    @Krokoklemme just shows how well it was marketed and why no one used it doesn't it ;)

    @Cyanite hey! You're on 6000++

    @retnikt

    Awesome! ^~^

    @Jonnyforgotten if you ask.me it would be great now if they'd partner up with Spotify and integrate Spotify into groove - I ways liked the UI of groove but I didn't like the music on the music pass

    @dsteiner yep that's a great idea, then you could still keep the OneDrive integration as well

    @Jonnyforgotten Sorry but I don’t think Spotify is available on Windows Phones.

    @zshh I think it is, just no longer supported (unless its because I downloaded it years ago)

    @Jonnyforgotten Yea, supported is what I meant. You’re right.
