Tell me again why anyone would choose to use Oracle Cloud instead if AWS GCP AZURE if Oracle cant even get their fucking website running?

Methinks you don't understand how capitalism works.

AWS promises ultra high reliability. They mostly deliver. They are also the biggest player, which means they do what they want.

Aspirants can only compete by offering other things. This often translates in "cheaper".

Be realistic. Neither 90% of companies nor you need fucking redundant availability. Your 200 customers won't even notice your site was down for a couple hours.

(And then again, Oracle itself is not immune to Friday deployments going wrong, that has nothing to do with cloud reliability)

Try AWS if you want, you won't find that much of a difference.

If you have a good SecDevOps team you won't need to pay a thirdparty company to "maintain" your services.
