So, I've been a programmer for 2 years and still don't like coffee.
Do I need therapy? Am I the chosen one? Should I switch to Java?

Do you have an alternate energy source? Mountain Dew? Photosynthesis? Crystal Meth?

Give it time. For me it was a slow downward spiral from tea/water.

I don't ever drink coffee; my drinks of choice are Arnold Palmer and Mountain Dew

I started to drink it because the cafe downstairs gives us free gourmet coffee (all tastes the same to me) for free. I still load up with tons of creamer, sugar and cinnamon to mask the taste.

Just finished my 4th year of CS undergrad, and I've never drunk anything for energy-boosting purposes.

Had a friend who has never really liked coffee but didn't want to miss our conversations at the coffee maker. He would pour a glass, drop a couple of ice cubes in and down it black.

This was the "healthy alternative" to a couple of cans of diet mountain dew every morning. I always had a lot of respect for that kind of determination.
