Why do I need to be different? I am me. I either agree or don't agree with other people. Most other people are stupid retards anyway. So it is pretty easy to differentiate without trying.

@horus I think it is like saying "everyone is unique, just like everyone else". It is 2 ideas that cannot coexist, but can coexist. So we are an amalgam.

Tonnoman6261yWell being different often times comes down to "all being a new kind of weird together" which is just the same old sheep mentality.

Who tries to be different?!
Most people seem to try to be the same. Common interests, common fashion styles, common hobbies, etc.
There's lots of people who just want to be themselves, and don't care about social influence - good on them. But I don't think there's many who actively go "Ah - Brian likes playing tennis, I'm going to be different and never do that."
Unless Brian is a massive dick of course. Then they might.
if everyone's trying to be different, aren't they all the same?
