Havent saw any circlejerking at all but fanboyism perhaps would be the iDrones that feel like hot shit just because their toys unlike other Mac users here who are mature and just use it because they need so or it just a right tool for their frameworks and such.
>Watermarks
Ok maybe that is something to do with the apps,I dont use them web-only user,cant deny that I really dislike them as well when put in your stuff.
>Single digit IQ posts
Using Hyperbole as an example that may not be physically even possible in humans discredits you alot when you want to sound serious and shit.
We also have way to many kids here but as an adult our jobs is to be patient to them and teach them the ways instead of antagonize them.
>Plagiarism
One thing is sharing some jokes/cancer you found funny somewhere because you want to share what you think is fun with others and other is claiming you did it. Cant deny when you make something original it doesnt get views like my last rant

Been lurking for some time before making an account and here are just some behaviour/quirks I observe in this community.
1. Circlejerking/fanboys
Yes we all know how retarded windows 10 is, how cancerous Php is, how annoying project managers can be, so on and so forth. It's fine to joke about this once in a while but to constantly bombard the app with "just uninstalled Windows and installed Linux!!1!!! XD" or "java needs to die" (and the comments agreeing with the post) is just plain unnecessary.
2. Watermarks
As of 9 Oct 2017 whenever you save an image from this app, you automatically get the devrant watermark attached to the bottom of the image. Why? The contents of this site are mostly stuff reposted from other forums. We are stooping as low as 9gag.
3. Single digit IQ posts
This is mostly from people that have started programming and wants to be a part of the community. So the best way they approach this is to write dumb posts like "haha I love programming" and "missing semicolon xD"
4. Plagiarism?
This is a issue that plagues online social media so it's probably not something that new.
I've realised that certain posts are just copy and pasted from other forums like Quora. Christ, you guys are developers. How hard can it be to come up with something original?
Some (most) of this is written with tongue in cheek, I know. Those are just my 2 cents though.
