So a few months ago I got a computer with Windows 10 on it, and kind of ditched the shitty laptop that had Ubuntu (I loved Ubuntu, fucking despised the laptop, since keys were sticky or missing and it couldn't last a few minutes off the charger) so just now I decided to try Linux Elementary, since I'm getting sick and tired of Win10!
Don't judge me, I'm not skilled enough for Arch...

@ThatDude Mint was my first ever distro, my father tried getting me on it when I was young but I didn't like it because I was used to Windows.
At some point in time I got the shitty laptop (before it was completely useless) and Ubuntu was put into it.
So that's around when I started enjoying Linux and used that as my thing.
Also, I may have fucked up completely trying to do my Elementary boot, but I think it's fine.

@ThatDude It's pretty simple, it's design resembles something related to a MacBook.
(Though I don't really like Apple, this is acceptable to me)
Also, I did not kill my computer trying to install it, so I'm in the green zone!

I flove Mint. Wasn't my first *NIX (HP/UX at school, FreeBSD at home, RedHat at work) but it is my favorite.

@MrJimmy It's a very user friendly distro, it's not hard to setup (of course) and it's fairly simple in format and looks.
Mint and Ubuntu are also great options, but Elementary personally works for me. (For the maybe hour I got to play with before I left my desk to go to sleep)

@MrJimmy I've never heard of Deepin, and neither has autocorrect because it just tried to change it to "sleeping".
But yeah, a Linux based flavour that has the same looks as a certain companies computer OS, what's not to like? (Well for me, the company that's based off a fruit *cough*)
But I chose it because I'm a minimalist, and the terminal really goes for the materialistic look as well which is nice.
    I recommend it.
