How does your shell look? Are you a shell user?

How long does it take to load all of that? I'm asking because I activated the git thing in bash-it, and it takes much longer to load the ps :/

@coolq i use the powerlevel9k theme for ohmyzsh

If you want the jokegreeting, it’s a combination of pyjokes & yosay

I find the weather widget tremendously unnecessary

@Gatgeagent Are you using powershell? Me too. Loads my script for 21 to 67 seconds first time. Then < 5sec

The terminal emulator matters a lot.

Using plain bash (with heavily customized ~/.profile for colors, tab completion, fzf fuzzy history and file search, git status, etc), but it's Urxvt which makes it snappy.

I searched a lot about how to install and apply the good fonts on archlinux to render correcty this theme with oh-my-zsh, and i gave up after replacing my system font by an ugly one but nevermind xD
So on linux i (and i try to) use zsh shell with the URxvt simulator. On windows i prefer to use the old command manager (cmd) instead of powershell, because that's ugly and i worked a lot with the first one.

@bittersweet thats because you're an arch user 😂

    I use iTerm 2 + oh-my-zsh + customized theme + zsh-highliter + git + git-flow..
and a bunch of brew formulas and ruby gems for my stack.

@Marethyun On windows, Babun is pretty awesome. It's basically a self contained terminal based on cygwin, with oh my zsh and all the core gnu tools, git, Python, perl, ssh, vim, etc.
