theNox92717yI would recommend to look at the syllabus, then you'll find out what you're about to face

0ne0rZer0527yHey, I'm on my 3rd year studying information security, uni choice seemed like an impossible task to me, what I have learnt is that a lot of the core modules at unis will be the same across the board, maybe look at what each uni offers as additional fields.
Also ultimately just visit some, you'll be at the uni for around 3/4 years so the location is vital, see what feels good to you, campus close knit unis, or spread city unis! That was my decider as I visited my campus and fell for the location! The course was a great bonus!
Hope that rambling helps, feel free to quiz me more if needed! -
If you choose Durham make sure it's Grey College because Collingwood and Hatfield obviously suck donkey dicks

Wytchley1027y@0ne0rZer0 I didn't know this! It makes sense though. Thanks mate, I'll definitely look into the extra modules that they do.
I can imagine location is very important especially if you're going to be there for a few years! 👍
Thanks :) -
Wytchley1027y@catintroholic I've been looking but a lot of universities don't seem to have an awful lot of information on it. They just tend to say stuff like 'Artificial Intelligence', 'Databases' etc.

theNox92717y@Wytchley maybe try to ask students who have better insights. When I was choosing an university I was considering location, how many students there are (maybe smaller group sizes), that I could choose the specialization later at one uni and not at the other, policies at these universities ...

Wytchley1027y@catintroholic That's a good idea! I'll see if I can find some ex-students or current students to quiz 👍
I never really thought about policies and specialisation, I'll have a look at that too :) Thanks !
