Is it expected for a new arrival to post a 'Hello World'? Only I don't normally do what's expected. Actually, I don't normally do normal. Then again, I don't know what I am doing most of the time. Or where I am. Or who I am.

This should be a thing... actually, you should have to code your best hello world in a random language from memory only...

Like the app should throw up “say hi, in [C#]” and then we could all have a giggle.

It’s not about getting it right or even knowing the language... it’s about seeing your best impression of a particular language. 😊

I.e: I have never worked with basic, so “Hello world” to me in basic might look like:

Goto 3
Print “fucking easy son”
Print “Hello World!”

I have no clue... but basic reminds me of the goto statement 😂

I never got around to basic... I did have to use Object Pascal in school though... what I learned is Object Pascal is a nightmare and Real Number implementation is very important.
