Actually I would not listen to the "eww jquery" way of doing things. Unlesd you live in an area with a lot of different opportunitirs, at one point or another you will encounter jquery or something that you may not like. Git gud and tackle that shit like a pro and move on to something else. Jquery is basic af, and if you get to it with an "eww" mentality you will have a bad time.

Source: someone that has worked with many "eww" tech stacks because money > hipster bullshit trashtalk.

@C0D4 exactly! Lol most things can be accomplished with basic jquery man I swear! One can really do their entire frontend with vanilla JS and some Jquery if they really want to but they choose to overcomplicate errr thing. I mean I like React and Angular and all dem shiny new toys, but I cannot deny the wonders that come from some simple Jquery/php/mysql u____u
