Do you ever talk to yourself out loud while thinking/programming/debugging? (Not a rubber duck in sight, because that makes it okay?)

I need to avoid making this a habit..

Me: What? Why is this even an error?

Someone: What?

Me: What?

    When I'm really stuck, it's the only way I can figure things out.

    It's like planning/debugging on steroids.

    I often catch myself doing random accents.
    I have like no control over it, especially while drunk!

    I sometimes even say the code in kind of a mumbly voice while I'm typing it in. People think I'm mental...

    @Torbuntu what a coincidence, I often shout at windows too, they just let in too much sunlight to see my screen clearly! 🤓

    My colleague does this a lot. Annoying as hell since you’re never sure when he’s talking to you. Plz stop doing this for your colleagues’ sake.

    I swear at my PC in Greek when I have troubles, and for figuring out my code I mumble and use my hands to visualise.

    @DjSall I do that too :raised_hands:

    Mostly, my frustrations with errors are more gestures from my hands (not just the fingers or the wrist; the entire 2 arms :joy:)
