Why the fuck does people who teach in professional colleges doesn't have the mindset to update their godamnn fucking dinosaur knowledge to the least basics of modern technology.

Had to do this mini-project for uni, and the languages allowed included java, python, php or any similar frontend tools for creating desktop app or web app. I planned on taking React + Express cz apparently that'll fall in the category.

Now she starts yelling at my project saying its not allowed and when I fucking asked her "can I use node.js which is basically javascript" she said yes.

And for gods sake she has a Masters degree and phd but doesn't even know what's the difference between get and post request!! Fed up with this college shit!!

    My university taught us on copies of Oracle database so old we couldn’t download it anymore. I failed answers because I was using a newer copy of the server.

    The problem is you received requirements and you did not align with them from your teacher's point of view.

    This is what working with clients is like.

    Haha yeah, know that - we were only allowed to use jQuery (with either jQuery Mobile or jQuery UI), standard JS and HTML5 stuff for our final project.
    No other libraries or frameworks - because I think they weren't really up to date with the state of technology.
    So well, jQuery Mobile it was... But I wrote everything as much in full-blown ES6 as possible, implemented stuff like a service worker which I knew they wouldn't understand the concept of and used other native but new stuff like ImageCapture().

    Everyone else is still waiting for their grades after weeks, I got my pretty much perfect one within 3 hours after handing in the project - they probably looked at my code, didn't quite understand what was going on but saw that it all was working nicely and boom. :D

    @21stCenturyJoku I think thats exactly what gonna happen to me but in worst case I'd need to explain the entire framework to the judges.

    @evilmupp3t as a freelance graphic designer, I'd give a 10/10 for the fact 😂😂
