My dear developers I would really appreciate if you could recommend me technology for diving into web development. I am thinking about django/python or laravel/php but I am not sure.

I know it is opinion based question but I need your help to decide..

    C#, node.

    Both of which are growing in popularity. (Also, cause I like them and hate PHP and python for web dev.)

    Django is never something to begin web development with. Go for Node.js 😊

    @D--M Fullstack. I took a quick look at django and for now it seems ok, what do you hate about it?

    Thanks for your recommendation and I will try node.js express framework for few weeks and see how it goes.

    @htlr django is new but at first look is really nice. However, I decided to give node.js a try. Hope that I won't regret :D

    Laravel is actually very nice. I'm starting with it and there are so many rich features to use.

    If you want to do it professionally, look at what languages and frameworks are popular.

    Thoughtworks has a nice technology radar that tells you which tech is doing to be used in the next years.

    A good way to find out popularity of stuff is Google Trends or your local job postings

    Learn php then the frameworks like laravel and cake php the same goes for python learn it then the frameworks. I would say php i like the syntex and theres loads of resources and tutorials to learn it.
