Anyone else get shit from their other half for working at home in the evenings/weekends sometimes? To make money to pay off the house? To save for our future? To finance their shopping hobby? Because I ruddy enjoy it!!!

Depends how you handle/balance it, I have sometimes really ignored my s/o for some quick buck, which if I think back, really wasn't worth it, but if it's really about you not making the cut at the end of the month, then she should understand if you just talk it out and try to explain her you are actually working more, to be able to actually be able to support it all, but if its a really tough case, maybe search somebody else, if she doesnt value the work you put towards everything, even after explaining it, she really doesnt care nor loves you imho. But to mention it again: we can be sometimes very greedy, having a day out or two, is really what everyone should atleast get.
