Why do I keep on gaming when I know I should be coding and improving! Frustrates me but I keep on doing it.5

If I get asked why I didn't complete a task tomorrow I will respond politely with "because we outsource all of our projects, I am fixing shitty bugs resulting from abismal code on 6 different project, merging requests, project managing even though I'm a developer, liaising with clients, writing scopes of works, estimating new projects whilst being the lead dev on 4 projects. Sorry you're right, like everyone else you need this today. I'll get right on that"

Anyone else get shit from their other half for working at home in the evenings/weekends sometimes? To make money to pay off the house? To save for our future? To finance their shopping hobby? Because I ruddy enjoy it!!!1

Sure I'll be the sole developer on this Facebook equivalent app whilst also being the lead dev on 3 others!

If you want to be a dev, don't buy a house. Or if you do buy a house don't do DIY. Or if you do the DIY, do it badly so you don't have to do it again.

Do you think a #MITBragDay would go down so well?
Don't get me wrong WIT is amazing and I am all for it. Gender isn't even a factor for me working in dev.
The thing I don't enjoy is being vilified for being a male in tech. I feel like I'm the bad guy.11 -
Just thought of a solution to a problem I'm having with an open source library. Now I can't sleep until I have made a pull request! It's 00:17 and I've just found out my Macbook is dead.

Typing a quick terminal command. Didn't work. Type it again. Didn't work. Look at your IDE. Goddammit!

Joined a company 7 months back, was told they would be hiring other Android developers; a prospect I was excited by as I have not had the chance to work alongside my own kind.
Still no one hired, I'm the only Android dev and I'm still teach and working by myself. What should I do?!3 -
Realising if you'd only studied a degree in computing, you would be useless in the real world as a developer6
