Come on dfox! Where's our setting that lets up auto-opt out of these! D;

I just had to go through one after another so I would stop getting them.

    Isn't there a clear button when you have notifications? 🤔

    From app
    Menu -> settings -> notifications

    (For iOS anyway)
    Hopefully the same for Android?

    @Alice that's true

    @Alice oh that’s what that does 🤭
    I turned push notifications off from the phone (got to distracting) you would think that toggle would be overall?

    You can just use clear all

    I already told @dfox about it almost three months after devRant started.

    I remember, that he had a pretty good argument against removing those.

    but I still think, we should be allowed to opt out of them

    This is on our list of todo’s. The in-app notif system is complex so it isn’t trivial unfortunately. I will try to get to it soon.

    @linuxer4fun I don’t think there was an argument against it, it was mainly just that it’s a good amount of work and we do offer it on a per-rant basis if there’s a really annoying one, and it’s also only one notif per rant, so it’s not each time someone comments it.

    We will definitely add more control in a notif tab in settings though. First we want to finish the notif overhaul we’re doing right now.
