    @YoungWebRebelz Imagine putting that keyboard beside some of today's mechanical models!! I credit that machine with so much... A big factor in me becoming a developer...

    @samk Grinding to get the $2,495 was insane.. but totally worth it back then! It was a lot of money though. To write an article on it, you inserted the system disk to boot it up. Then you ejected that and inserted the MacWrite disk. When you wanted to save your work so far, you ejected the MacWrite disk and inserted a blank disk, even those were expensive haha. The external 20MB SCSI hard drive was even worse, price wise!

    @YoungWebRebelz Well I bought mine used - only cost just over $200. Came with an external 2nd disk drive (800K disks, mind!) so I didn't have to do just as much swapping.

    The school I went to when I moved here to Texas always so poor they had those as late as 2001 or 2002.
